Their provenance from the historic Cognac region guarantees originally filled casks with authentic character, high craftsmanship quality, and reliable aromatic performance.

During many years of Cognac maturation, the barrels have developed a finely balanced and elegant aroma profile. Typical characteristics include notes of ripe fruits, grapes, and gentle sweetness, complemented by vanilla, subtle spice, and harmonious wood notes from French oak. The tannin structure is well integrated, providing balance and depth without becoming dominant.

Thanks to these qualities, the 225-liter Cognac barrels are ideally suited for re-filling, finishing, as well as for the storage and aging of premium distilled spirits such as whisky, rum, brandy, and fruit brandies. Barrel-aged beers also benefit from the refined barrel influence, gaining complexity, structure, and a warm, rounded character.

Each Cognac oak barrel is carefully selected, thoroughly inspected, and professionally prepared to ensure optimal conditions for successful re-use.
