They originate from a renowned gin distillery in France and were used to mature a highly botanical-driven gin. As a result, they have developed a multi-layered and aromatically intense profile that goes far beyond classic gin barrels.

In addition to characteristic juniper notes, a wide range of complex botanicals have become deeply embedded in the wood. Particularly prominent are fresh orange aromas, floral notes from blossoms, warm cinnamon spice, and refined accents of pepper and cardamom. This distinctive combination creates a dynamic interplay of freshness, spice, and elegance, giving the barrels a unique and memorable sensory depth.

The balanced oak structure integrates seamlessly with the botanical aromas, allowing for clear and controlled aroma transfer. This makes these gin oak barrels ideally suited for finishing as well as for the storage and maturation of a wide variety of products. Expressive beers, creative craft beers, and character-driven spirits such as whisky, rum, and aromatic distillates benefit in particular from the complex, fresh-spicy barrel influence.

Each barrel is carefully selected, thoroughly inspected, and professionally prepared to ensure optimal conditions for successful re-filling. These French gin barrels are the perfect choice for producers seeking to achieve distinctive flavors, a clearly defined botanical signature, and high recognition value in their products.

A barrel designed for creative aging concepts, experimental releases, and outstanding sensory results.

DOWNLOAD: Guidelines for Used Barrels

NOTE: The sale of our products is exclusively to businesses or commercial customers as defined in §14 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
