These freshly emptied 300 L casks come from renowned Bordeaux châteaux and were previously filled with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot – a blend celebrated worldwide for depth, balance, and aging potential.

Compared to standard 225 L barriques, the 300 L Tonneaux allows for slower, more controlled flavor transfer. The increased volume ensures harmonious integration of fruit, tannin, and oak, making these barrels ideal for extended aging and structured finishing projects.

BORDEAUX CHARACTER WITH REFINED NUANCE
Crafted from premium French oak, the staves reflect the maturation of classic Bordeaux wines. Expect notes of cassis, dark cherry, and ripe plum, complemented by cedarwood, subtle spice, and elegant tannins.

Thanks to the Tonneaux format, oak influence remains precise yet never overpowering. Whisky, wine, rum, and barrel-aged beers benefit from smooth maturation, defined structure, and a refined, slightly dry finish.

PROFESSIONAL PREPARATION & TARGETED SELECTION
After emptying, each 300 L barrel is carefully inspected and technically prepared in our cooperage.
