These large-format casks come from prestigious Bordeaux châteaux and were previously filled with classic Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot cuvées - wines internationally recognized for structure, depth, and outstanding aging potential.

With a capacity of 500 liters, these Tonneaux offer a significantly reduced wood-to-liquid ratio. This ensures particularly calm, slow, and controlled flavor transfer. The result is a uniform maturation process with clear structure and refined oak influence - never dominant, always balanced. The 500 L format is ideal for long-term aging and large-scale finishing projects where precision, consistency, and stability are essential.

BORDEAUX STRUCTURE IN LARGE FORMAT
Crafted from premium French oak, the staves retain the signature aromatic profile of classic Bordeaux wines. Expect notes of cassis, black cherry, and ripe plum, complemented by cedarwood, subtle spice, and finely structured tannins.

Thanks to the generous volume, the oak character remains restrained and harmonious. Whisky, rum, brandy, structured craft beers, and wines benefit from a clearly defined, dry red wine influence that adds depth without overpowering the base product.

PROFESSIONAL PREPARATION & DIRECT BORDEAUX SOURCING
Our 500 L Bordeaux Tonneaux are sourced directly from the region of origin and carefully inspected and technically prepared in our cooperage.
