As part of this restoration, the interior surfaces of the casks were precisely planed to remove all residues and deposits. This guarantees a smooth and flawless surface, which is essential for optimal fermentation or storage processes. The exterior surfaces of the casks were also completely sanded down, ensuring they are not only technically up-to-date but also visually appear in like-new condition.
