FULLY REFURBISHED TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS
This original 50 hL French oak fermentation vat from the renowned Foudrerie Marc Grenier was handcrafted in France from premium French oak. After many years of professional service, the vat has been completely refurbished by experienced master coopers and is now in outstanding technical and cosmetic condition.

Featuring a robust construction with 55 mm thick French oak staves and premium stainless steel equipment, this oak vat combines traditional French cooperage with the demands of modern production facilities. It is ready for immediate use and is ideally suited for the fermentation and processing of premium products in wineries, distilleries, breweries, cideries, and other producers of fermented beverages.

COMPLETE REFURBISHMENT BY EXPERIENCED MASTER COOPERS
As part of the comprehensive restoration process, all interior surfaces have been carefully re-planed to remove residues, deposits, and the worn wood layer, exposing fresh, clean French oak. This creates optimal hygienic conditions for renewed use and provides the ideal environment for controlled fermentation and product maturation.

The exterior has then been completely sanded, restoring the oak's natural appearance and giving the vat a premium, well-maintained finish. Finally, all hoops, structural components, and seals are thoroughly inspected to ensure the vat meets the demanding standards of professional production environments.

The result is a fully refurbished French oak fermentation vat offering exceptional hygiene, functionality, durability, and long-term reliability.

FRENCH OAK FOR CONTROLLED FERMENTATION
Constructed with 55 mm thick French oak staves, this vat provides excellent thermal stability while allowing the wood's natural breathability to promote gentle micro-oxygenation. These characteristics create ideal conditions for controlled fermentation and the production of beverages with exceptional complexity and balance.

Wineries benefit from harmonious fermentation and enhanced aroma development, while breweries can use the vat for traditional wood fermentations and specialty beers. Distilleries can utilise the vat for mash fermentation or specialised production and maturation processes where the unique characteristics of solid French oak add genuine value. The vat is equally suitable for cider and other premium fermented beverages.

CUSTOMISED TO MATCH YOUR PRODUCTION FACILITY
To ensure seamless integration into your existing production process, the clear and bottom outlet connections are individually configured to match your preferred connection standard.

Please let us know whether you require DIN, Garolla, Macon, or another connection system when requesting a quotation. We will prepare the vat accordingly. Additional charges may apply depending on the selected fittings or optional equipment.

SUSTAINABLE QUALITY FOR MANY MORE YEARS
A professionally refurbished French oak fermentation vat is an economical and environmentally responsible alternative to purchasing a new vessel. Expert restoration preserves the exceptional quality of the solid French oak while extending its service life and conserving valuable natural resources.

Combining the renowned craftsmanship of Foudrerie Marc Grenier, comprehensive refurbishment, and premium stainless steel equipment, this versatile 50 hL oak vat will provide reliable performance for wineries, distilleries, breweries, and cider producers for many years to come.
