Our reconstructed barrels made from original Heaven Hill Distillery bourbon casks combine American whiskey tradition with modern small-format cask use. In traditional cooperage craftsmanship, carefully selected, previously used bourbon barrels are transformed into high-quality aging casks with capacities of 27, 55, and 110 liters.

FROM ORIGINAL CASK TO EFFICIENT SMALL FORMAT
For reconstruction, original bourbon casks are professionally dismantled. The staves are precisely shortened, newly fitted, and then reassembled using traditional cooperage techniques to form smaller barrels.

The reduced volume significantly increases the ratio of wood surface to liquid, resulting in faster and more intense flavor interaction. This makes these barrels particularly suitable for controlled maturation processes with clearly defined cask influence.

CRAFTSMANSHIP & SENSORY QUALITY
Each reconstructed barrel is carefully refurbished by experienced coopers. The staves are inspected and reworked, the barrel body is rebuilt, and the hoops are adjusted or renewed.

Special attention is given to tightness, wood quality, and sensory performance. The result is technically flawless, highly aromatic oak barrels that provide optimal conditions for refilling.
