Our Moscatel barrels come from leading producers in France and Portugal – the traditional homelands of these intensely aromatic sweet wines. Each cask is carefully selected under strict quality standards and meticulously reconditioned in our partner cooperages for reuse.

Crafted from premium French oak, these barrels combine the fragrant lightness of Moscatel wine with the elegant structure and subtle vanilla tones of the wood. The result is an exceptionally versatile aroma barrel – perfect for finishing, aging, and flavoring whisky, rum, beer, gin, or liqueurs.

A BARREL FULL OF SUNSHINE & AROMA
Moscatel wines are renowned for their intensely fruity, floral, and honey-sweet character. The wood of these barrels is deeply infused with notes of nutmeg blossom, orange, raisin, honey, and white flowers. During maturation or finishing, they release a finely balanced blend of sweetness, freshness, and aromatic depth.

Spirits and beers aged in Moscatel barrels develop a warm Mediterranean nuance and an elegant, slightly wine-like finish – ideal for creative finishing projects seeking extraordinary complexity.
