The 228-liter Barriques Château Tradition from Giraud-Galiana combine traditional craftsmanship with exceptional wood quality. As one of France’s most exclusive cooperages, Giraud-Galiana selects only the finest woods from the oldest and most prestigious forests of Central France.
With decades of experience and a continuous evolution of traditional barrel-making, this renowned cooperage blends masterful craftsmanship with innovative production methods. Each 225 L Barrique Château Tradition is meticulously crafted to meet the highest standards of winemakers who seek to refine their wines at the highest level.
A key quality feature of these barriques is the long, natural drying period of the wood, which ranges between 24 and 36 months, depending on the quality grade. This meticulous aging process enhances the wood’s physical and chemical properties, essential for harmonious wine maturation. The fine wood texture, balanced aroma, and controlled micro-oxidation contribute to an elegant structure and an exceptional flavor profile.
