The 400-liter Tonneau from Giraud-Galiana represents exceptional craftsmanship and the highest wood quality. As one of France’s most renowned cooperages, Giraud-Galiana works exclusively with premium oak sourced from the most prestigious forests of central France. This meticulous selection, combined with decades of expertise, ensures barrels of outstanding quality, providing winemakers with the ideal foundation for perfect wine maturation.

By masterfully blending traditional craftsmanship with modern production techniques, these Tonneau barrels achieve the perfect balance of structure, aromatic influence, and micro-oxidation. With its 400-liter capacity, this barrel imparts an even more subtle oak influence compared to smaller variants, promoting a particularly fine and harmonious wine development.

A key quality feature of this barrel is the extended natural drying period of the wood, lasting between 24 and 36 months. This process enhances essential physical and chemical properties, fostering an elegant and complex aroma profile that elevates the wine’s unique character without overpowering it.

Discover premium French cooperage with the Giraud-Galiana 400 L Tonneau and bring unparalleled depth, harmony, and elegance to your wines.
