The Japanese Mizunara oak is the most exclusive type of oak in barrel making. The reason is that the noble hardwood is more difficult to process than other oaks and that availability cannot be guaranteed at all times. The outstanding aroma is particularly popular with whiskey distilleries. It is characterized by a high proportion of vanillin, floral, spicy notes and a very low concentration of tannins.

Our high-quality spirit barrels are carefully handcrafted by our international master coopers according to our customers requirements and needs. Only after complete quality control the barrels will be prepared for shipping and sent to our customers.
