Our reconstructed barrels made from original Bulleit Bourbon casks bring the bold character of this distinctive bourbon into an efficient small format. Using traditional cooperage techniques, carefully selected, previously used barrels are transformed into high-quality aging casks with capacities of 27, 55, and 110 liters.

These compact formats enable particularly intense and fast flavor interaction and are ideal for targeted maturation, finishing projects, and creative production approaches.

EXPRESSIVE AROMATICS WITH RYE CHARACTER
The original maturation with Bulleit Bourbon gives the oak a powerful and multi-layered aroma profile. Characteristic is the pronounced rye spice, which is immediately present and adds structure and depth.

This spice is complemented by warm vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and subtle notes of dried fruit and nutmeg. The result is a vibrant and dynamic flavor profile with a clear identity.

FROM ORIGINAL CASK TO HIGHLY ACTIVE SMALL BARREL
For reconstruction, original Bulleit bourbon barrels are professionally dismantled. The staves are shortened, refitted, and reassembled using traditional cooperage methods to create smaller casks.

The reduced volume increases the surface area between wood and liquid, resulting in significantly more intense flavor transfer. This makes these barrels especially suitable for fast and precise maturation processes.

CRAFTSMANSHIP & RELIABLE PERFORMANCE
Each reconstructed barrel is carefully refurbished by experienced coopers. The staves are inspected, the barrel bodies rebuilt, and the hoops adjusted or renewed.

Particular attention is given to tightness, wood quality, and sensory performance to ensure consistently high quality and optimal results for refilling.
