FROM LARGE BARREL TO PRECISION SMALL FORMAT
For reconstruction, original Mellow Corn whiskey barrels are professionally dismantled and rebuilt. The staves are shortened, adjusted, and reassembled using traditional cooperage techniques into smaller casks.

The reduced volume significantly increases the wood-to-liquid contact surface, leading to faster flavor extraction and allowing precise control over the maturation process – ideal for modern and flexible production approaches.

Each reconstructed barrel is carefully refurbished by experienced coopers. The wood structure is inspected, the barrel bodies rebuilt, and the hoops adjusted or renewed.
