The Tonnellerie Maury & Fils, founded in Bordeaux in 1893, is one of the most respected and traditional cooperages in the world. For over four generations, the family business has been led by Mathieu Maury, earning an exceptional reputation as a premium cooperage. 90% of its production is supplied to the most prestigious Grand Cru Classé Châteaux—a clear testament to the outstanding quality and trust in the Maury brand.
The 400-liter Tonneaux casks from Maury & Fils provide an ideal solution for winemakers producing wines that require slow aging and harmonious development. The meticulous selection of the finest French oak and an elaborate, traditional production process ensure that every barrel meets the highest quality standards. Each step of the manufacturing process is designed to support and refine the character of the wine to its fullest potential.
The 400-liter Tonneaux barrels embody elegance and finesse. They preserve the fruitiness of the wine while simultaneously adding structure, depth, and a subtle yet complex aromatic profile. The larger barrel volume allows for a gentler interaction between the wine and the wood, resulting in delicate, balanced oak notes. This makes these barrels ideal for discerning winemakers seeking to impart maximum complexity and elegance to their wines.
By choosing the 400-liter Tonneaux barrels from Maury & Fils, you invest in craftsmanship, tradition, and unparalleled quality. These barrels are especially well-suited for red wines and complex white wines, benefiting from gentle aging and the perfect balance between fruit and oak. They help create an exceptional tasting experience that elevates your wines to a new level.
