EXOTIC PACIFIC AROMAS IN A COMPACT FORMAT
Our exclusive rebuilt Fiji rum barrels bring the aromatic depth of the South Pacific into compact barrel sizes. These unique oak casks are created by expertly rebuilding original 200-liter rum barrels from Fiji, which previously matured premium Fiji rum for many years under warm, humid island conditions.
The constant temperatures and high humidity of the island climate have deeply infused the wood, creating a layered, exotic aroma profile - an ideal foundation for smaller aging barrels with a balanced, tropical character.
TRADITIONAL COOPERAGE & SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION
In our cooperage, the original Fiji rum barrels are carefully dismantled. The staves are inspected, shortened, and reassembled by hand into new barrels with capacities of 27 L, 55 L, or 110 L.
Each barrel is a handcrafted one-of-a-kind piece, preserving the distinctive aromatic signature of its Pacific origin.
These rebuilt casks stand for sustainable reuse of premium materials combined with precise cooperage craftsmanship - perfect for producers who value quality, provenance, and character.
EXOTIC AROMATICS & HARMONIOUS MATURATION
The oak used is deeply saturated with the characteristic aromas of Fiji rum. Warm notes of vanilla and toasted wood blend with fruity nuances of banana, peach, cherry, and citrus, complemented by a gentle, finely spiced depth.
During reuse, these flavors are released evenly into whisky, rum, beer, wine, or craft spirits, delivering an elegant, tropical-style maturation with a soft texture, caramel sweetness, and a balanced, lingering finish.
FINISHING & QUALITY CONTROL
In the final step, the exterior surfaces are finely sanded, the hoops are adjusted, renewed, or replaced as needed, and each barrel is carefully tested for tightness. The result is a technically flawless, visually refined, and highly aromatic cask, ready for immediate use in aging or finishing.
