For reconstruction, original rye whiskey barrels are professionally dismantled, the staves shortened, and reassembled into smaller casks. The reduced volume significantly increases the wood-to-liquid contact surface.

This leads to more intense flavor transfer and allows faster development of the desired cask character – ideal for projects with clearly defined sensory goals.

CRAFTSMANSHIP & QUALITY ASSURANCE
Each reconstructed barrel is carefully refurbished by experienced coopers. The wood structure is inspected, the barrel bodies rebuilt, and the hoops adjusted or renewed.
