Our reconstructed barrels made from original Laphroaig Distillery single malt whisky casks bring the unmistakable intensity of Islay into a compact and highly impactful format. For reconstruction, original Laphroaig casks are professionally dismantled, the staves shortened, and reassembled into smaller barrels. The reduced volume significantly increases the wood-to-liquid contact surface.

Each reconstructed barrel is carefully refurbished by experienced coopers. The wood structure is inspected, the barrel bodies rebuilt, and the hoops adjusted or renewed.
