We obtain these high-quality rum casks directly from one of the most traditional and exclusive rum producers. These rum barrels have a unique aroma, that they have received through years of rum maturation: Light wood notes paired with dried fruits as well as coconut, caramel and vanilla predominate. After approx. 11 years of barrel aging in American bourbon barrels, the rum is then matured in these French oak barrels for 2 to 4 years, which gives it additional sweet and woody notes.
