The Dark Intense Double Toast is a deep, long-lasting toasting technique designed to deliberately reactivate and restructure all remaining aromatic potential within the wood. Through this intensive thermal treatment, sugars, lignins, and wood compounds are strongly caramelized and made available once again for maturation.

The result is an exceptionally expressive barrel profile with intense notes of crème brûlée, toffee, heavily toasted caramel, dark sugar, and warm roasted aromas. The aromatics are deep, creamy, and powerful, yet remain well balanced. These barrels deliver a pronounced cask signature and are ideally suited for aging projects where bold wood and toast-driven flavors are intentionally placed at the forefront.
