Our original 228 L Far Niente Winery Chardonnay barrels are among the most exclusive white wine casks from the Napa Valley. The renowned wine estates are globally recognized for exceptionally precise, elegant, and age-worthy Chardonnay wines with a Burgundian-inspired style and a perfect balance of fruit, creaminess, and refined oak integration.
These barrels are from the 2024 vintage and were used to mature premium Far Niente Chardonnay wines. Crafted by leading French cooperages from carefully selected French oak, these barriques offer an exceptionally refined and multi-layered flavor profile for demanding maturation projects.
CREAMY FRUIT, FINE VANILLA & ELEGANT OAK SPICE
Far Niente Chardonnay is known for its exceptionally harmonious and precise aromatics. Typical notes include ripe peach, yellow apple, pear, and citrus fruits, complemented by delicate tropical nuances and vibrant freshness.
Maturation in French oak adds creamy notes of vanilla, brioche, toasted almonds, and fine caramel. Subtle toasted aromas and elegant oak spice provide structure and depth without overpowering the fruit.
The result is a particularly balanced, creamy, and highly refined cask profile with remarkable aromatic elegance.

The 2024 vintage Far Niente Chardonnay barrels are expected to become available from mid to late June 2026. Due to limited quantities, early reservation is highly recommended.
