Our used red wine barriques made from French oak are professionally regenerated in our experienced cooperages in France using the proven STR process (Shaving, Toasting, Recharring). The barrels are first thoroughly cleaned, precisely sanded on the outside, and carefully shaved on the inside to remove exhausted wood and reveal fresh aromatic potential.

Depending on the intended application, the barrels are then finished with custom toasting or charring levels. This allows for the targeted development of toasted aromas, vanilla notes, and structural oak influence, perfectly tailored to the desired maturation profile.

These technically and sensorially enhanced STR barriques represent a high-quality and cost-effective alternative to new oak barrels. They combine the matured structure of used casks with fresh oak character, enabling precise control over the aging process.

The refurbished barriques are ideal for the maturation of wine, beer, and spirits, adding elegant, finely structured oak notes with balanced complexity and a modern cask profile.
