Original whisky casks from The Famous Grouse, one of Scotland’s most renowned Blended Scotch whiskies. For generations, this traditional brand has stood for well-balanced compositions, harmonious aromas, and the highest cask quality.

These casks were seasoned with Famous Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky and, during maturation, absorbed its smooth and rounded character. They are ideally suited for refining spirits, beer, or wine – or for projects where authenticity and provenance play a central role.

Famous Grouse combines selected malt and grain whiskies from various Scottish regions into a harmonious whole. Maturation in carefully selected oak casks gives the blend its soft structure and finely tuned aromatic profile.

Having been filled with Famous Grouse, these casks carry the typical notes of a classic Blended Scotch:

- Soft vanilla and caramel
- Subtle honeyed sweetness
- Dried fruits and light citrus notes
- Gentle oak spice
- Delicate malt undertones

The casks offer a balanced wood influence with pleasant sweetness and mild spice – perfect for the harmonious maturation of new distillates.
